Terms & Conditions

​These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of healthcare services by DD Medical UK ("DD Medical UK", "we", "our", "us").

By booking an appointment, attending a consultation, purchasing a membership, undergoing treatment, using our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. ABOUT US

DD Medical UK is a private healthcare provider offering a range of medical services including but not limited to:

  • General Practitioner (GP) consultations

  • Health assessments

  • Weight management services

  • Travel vaccinations

  • Sexual health services

  • Men's health services

  • Women's health and menopause services

  • Hayfever treatments

  • Diagnostic testing

  • Blood testing

  • Private prescriptions

  • Medical referrals

  • Membership services

  • Other healthcare services offered from time to time

All services are provided subject to clinical suitability, professional judgement and applicable regulatory requirements.

2. APPOINTMENT BOOKINGS

2.1 All appointments must be booked in advance.

2.2 Appointments are subject to clinician availability.

2.3 We reserve the right to refuse or rearrange appointments where clinically appropriate or operationally necessary.

2.4 Appointment times are allocated specifically for individual patients and therefore cancellation policies apply.

2.5 Patients are responsible for ensuring all booking information provided is accurate and up to date.

3. FEES AND PAYMENT

3.1 All consultation fees, treatment fees and service charges must be paid in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

3.2 Certain services may require full prepayment.

3.3 Fees cover clinician time, expertise and administration and do not guarantee any particular outcome, diagnosis, treatment plan or prescription.

3.4 Additional charges may apply for:

  • Prescriptions

  • Referral letters

  • Medical reports

  • Insurance forms

  • Diagnostic tests

  • Blood tests

  • Vaccinations

  • Medications

  • Follow-up appointments

3.5 Prices may be amended without notice.

3.6 Any quotation provided is valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

4. CANCELLATION POLICY

Standard Appointments

4.1 A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or rearrange an appointment.

4.2 Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice will incur the full appointment fee.

4.3 Failure to attend an appointment without notice ("No Show") will incur the full appointment fee.

4.4 Repeated late cancellations or non-attendance may result in refusal of future bookings.

Late Arrival Policy

4.5 Patients arriving late may have their appointment shortened.

4.6 If a clinician cannot safely complete the appointment within the remaining allocated time, the appointment may be cancelled and treated as a late cancellation.

4.7 The full appointment fee may remain payable.

5. REFUNDS

5.1 Consultation fees are generally non-refundable once an appointment has taken place.

5.2 Refunds are not provided where:

  • A patient chooses not to proceed with recommended treatment.

  • A prescription is declined following clinical assessment.

  • A referral is not considered clinically appropriate.

  • Test results are normal.

  • Treatment outcomes differ from expectations.

5.3 Any refund issued remains entirely at the discretion of DD Medical UK.

5.4 Where a refund is approved, it will normally be processed to the original payment method within 14 working days.

6. CLINICAL SUITABILITY

6.1 All services remain subject to clinical assessment.

6.2 DD Medical UK clinicians retain absolute discretion regarding:

  • Diagnosis

  • Investigations

  • Prescriptions

  • Referrals

  • Treatments

  • Vaccinations

  • Ongoing care

6.3 Booking an appointment does not guarantee:

  • Treatment

  • Medication

  • Vaccination

  • Referral

  • Medical certificate

  • Fitness certificate

  • Prescription

6.4 Clinical decisions will always be based on professional judgement, patient safety and regulatory obligations.

7. PATIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Patients agree to:

7.1 Provide accurate medical information.

7.2 Disclose relevant medical conditions.

7.3 Disclose current medications.

7.4 Inform clinicians of allergies.

7.5 Follow clinical advice provided.

7.6 Attend recommended follow-up appointments.

7.7 Inform DD Medical UK of any change in personal details.

7.8 Behave respectfully towards staff and other patients.

Failure to provide accurate information may impact treatment decisions and patient safety.

8. PRIVATE PRESCRIPTIONS

8.1 Private prescriptions are issued entirely at clinician discretion.

8.2 Prescriptions may be refused where clinically inappropriate.

8.3 Prescription charges and medication costs are separate unless expressly stated.

8.4 Issuance of a prescription does not guarantee medication availability.

8.5 Prescription fees are non-refundable once a prescription has been issued.

8.6 Lost prescriptions may incur additional charges.

9. WEIGHT MANAGEMENT SERVICES

9.1 Weight management programmes are provided subject to medical assessment.

9.2 Eligibility criteria may apply.

9.3 Not all patients will be suitable for treatment.

9.4 Medication prescribing decisions remain solely with the clinician.

9.5 Patients must disclose relevant medical history.

9.6 Results vary significantly between individuals.

9.7 DD Medical UK cannot guarantee:

  • Weight loss

  • Specific weight reduction

  • Timeframes

  • Maintenance of results

9.8 Medication supplied or prescribed cannot be returned once dispensed.

10. VACCINATION SERVICES

10.1 Vaccinations are administered following clinical assessment.

10.2 Patients must provide accurate travel information where relevant.

10.3 Recommendations are based on information supplied by the patient.

10.4 DD Medical UK cannot guarantee protection against illness.

10.5 Vaccination fees become non-refundable once vaccines have been ordered, prepared or administered.

10.6 Patients are responsible for completing any recommended vaccination schedules.

11. HAYFEVER SERVICES

11.1 Hayfever treatments remain subject to clinical suitability.

11.2 Not all patients will be eligible for treatment.

11.3 Treatment outcomes vary between individuals.

11.4 No guarantee is provided regarding symptom improvement or duration of benefit.

12. SEXUAL HEALTH SERVICES

12.1 Testing services are provided in accordance with clinical guidelines.

12.2 Patients remain responsible for providing accurate sexual health information.

12.3 Testing does not eliminate all risk of infection.

12.4 Results should be interpreted alongside clinical advice.

13. MENOPAUSE, WOMEN'S HEALTH AND MEN'S HEALTH SERVICES

13.1 Treatment recommendations are based upon information available at the time of consultation.

13.2 Prescribing remains subject to ongoing clinical review.

13.3 Monitoring appointments may be required.

13.4 Patients are responsible for complying with recommended monitoring requirements.
